Lydia describes her journey with the healing arts, “I am doing what is possible in an impossible world.” She pays tribute to the Palauan women within her family and culture that helped her to find her voice. She stresses, “I can quickly speak and think for myself, so I must advocate for myself. So, I must get my needs understood by fully mobile people. ”
Although faced with these challenges, Lydia keeps her sense of humor and focus and states that “all art is the creative expression of the divine within us.”
